It used to be fun to check all the newly added apps, but now so many of them are vibecoded :(
Yeah, I used to enjoy it too. No more. And these apps are often not very good and are accompanied with obnoxiously frequent releases, sometimes multiple per day.
I wish fdroid had a “vibe coded” antifeature that we could filter out.
i actually find it pretty damn uncomfortable that there isn’t even a single antifeature for AI-developed apps, there’s no reason not to add it so the lack feels intentional.
I really really hope it’s not going to turn out that the f-droid project is filled with clankers
