A personal preference, but I don’t like to click to see more and much prefer scroll to see more.

One of the first things I noticed about Jellyfin is how unpolished it looked. This does look nicer in the screenshot. I have to update and check myself.

I honestly don’t like the new ui. I’ve set the old legacy theme back on mine. Except the Jellyfin app on android for some reason doesn’t allow me to set legacy ui so I’m stuck with the ugly new one there. One reason is I have created my own own images and created libraries on my homescreen with those nice images. So, that new top bar with all the libraries is unnecessary. I also dont care for the new menu to the dashboard and everything.

Yeah I find the new UI involves more clicking for me to get where I want to. Now instead of seeing that I can jump to my song list, I have to know to click on the down arrow by albums. Everything is getting hidden behind menus.

Yep, I agree. I love Jellyfin and all thanks to the devs for the project but I think they fumbled on the new UI.

I could get behind this new UI chabge! Looks better than previous one for sure. Personally had to rely on community themes for now.

I think this alao helps to integrate third party themes better into native clients that replicate the theme instructions

Which doesn’t negate that objective truth is also a thing.

The new UI is worse. If this was what I was greeted with on day 1 I would have assumed the developers were slow in the head and stuck with Plex. It’s bad.
