I think someone posted a video from that domain? I just checked my phone and realized I had downloaded the video, and sure enough, it appears to be from that domain… Hopefully no one trying to spread malware?
Edit: looks like it came from the post about the Brazilian reporter commenting about Bolsonaro getting sentenced. Can’t find it to link now.
Can’t speak for myself as I haven’t played it, but a good place I like to check is Protondb. Their page for Arc Raiders says it should be fully compatible :)
Obviously the folks posting at protondb can’t speak for anyone so hopefully some folks here have some helpful anecdotes!

Linux@lemmy.ml•Why go through the trouble to use Arch?English
15·21 days agoI think for many people, whether they’re tinkerers or programmers or whoever, enjoy the freedom that comes with Arch.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Can we possibly do without apps on PCs ?English
13·25 days agoApps is short for Applications, which is another word for “programs” or “software.” You want to use a PC without any software??

1·29 days agoGood stuff, glad it’s working out for you! I use CachyOS with KDE and I can get by pretty easy using Dolphin for most of my file needs. I do use the terminal quite a bit managing the Debian server running our friend group’s Minecraft server though!
I don’t mean to add to the discourse here or to keep giving you hypotheticals but, while learning to self host is fun and cool, you really do not want this thing on public Internet. Even if you can delete files to prevent uncouth things, what if someone uploads something while you’re asleep, or away from your computer? Do you have others monitoring the instance to take down CSAM or other illegal material? What if someone uploads malware and it executes on your machine? If you must leave it exposed, you should allow only family and friends to access via a strongly passworded account(I think that is configurable with copy party).
If you really want to expose services, try a media server like Plex or Jellyfin. You don’t want strangers to upload things to your machines.

2·2 months agoI specified locally hosted/managed because we’d like to avoid clouds and subscriptions. I don’t really want to divulge details but this is mostly for home security against a specific individual, and this person might be inclined to attempt logins into a cloud service. From my end I’d just set up a wireguard tunnel and us it to remote into some kind of server/NVR at my sister’s house.

3·2 months agoI hadn’t heard of Tapo, and while TP-Link scares me a little, it looks like it could also be integrated into Home Assistant for viewing. Does the camera record over the first-recorded data when the SD Card gets full? Do you use the TP-Link/Tapo app for local management? Thanks for your response.

17·3 months ago+1 to Clone Hero. Huge community making thousands of custom songs and packs. I think all of the games have been ported into CH at this point. Extensive controller support too. I have an old PS4 Rock Band Bluetooth controller I use to play sometimes!

3·4 months agoI’ve been using CachyOS for about a month now with no problems. Very fast and easy distro based on Arch, so it’s “bleeding edge.” I haven’t needed to, but be prepared to tinker if an update goes south. I came from Bazzite and liked that well enough too, but I wanted better access to some softwares.

Ooo, run by the city/governing body itself? That’d be an interesting way to connect the population.
A Lemmy instance for every single city or region would be cumbersome. Just make these communities on your preferred instance.

Looks like a good resource to read, thanks! As you may know there are a billion and one guides for doing the same thing across a plethora of systems, and even more variables in between. Appreciate your time.
