I’d be hard pressed to name another band in the genre. It’s something I was exposed to in my youth and it stuck.

They have 11 studio albums so if you liked this there’s a good chance you’ll like more. I’m the type to sit down and dive into an entire discography so I could point you towards my favorites but honestly there ain’t nothing better than finding out for yourself.

Living Sacrifice, Detritus, P.O.D. are a few I’ve posted in this channel. ‘Impending Doom’ is another good one, though it may have gotten downvoted into oblivion. Perhaps I’ll repost.

Yeah, when I find something I like, I generally become brand loyal. It’s why I now have almost 2000 CD’s.

Detritus was cool, I’ll need time to digest Living Sacrifice and I didn’t realize P.O.D. was Christian. Good tunes overall, definitely be doing a deep dive into these

When I was a teenager I read an article about how the drummer of P.O.D. didn’t like being classified as a Christian band and it felt like such a betrayal.

Nodes of Ranvier. Underoath. I really thought I could scrape up a third one but my ancient history memory is failing me. Instinct says Norma Jean but I can’t remember what they sound like and everything else I can remember is more rock than metal.

Another vote for Norma Jean but I while they started as Christian they’re not necessarily now. Still, great stuff.
