    I posted about this the other day.

    As far as I can tell, this is not an issue if you swap post size to large. But yeah, also having this issue.

    Here is a response I got.

    “I think it has to do with recent changes in PieFed. I’m just spitballing, but I think PieFed released an update that changed the way images are displayed, and it affected Voyager. I keep thinking it will be updated, but it hasn’t been yet.”

    If an image is a low enough resolution, it will not upscale.

    If this is happening to a lot of images, it might be an issue of the instance those images were uploaded to serving you the thumbnail instead of the original image.

      I’m seeing the same issue (iOS 27). The image loads as a thumbnail at first - I can see that it’s blurry/low res - and then gets replaced with the full res version, but it stays at the same size onscreen.

      Thanks for the reply. Images seem to be high res when I manually zoom in. It’s not every image. I’ll try to see if there’s a pattern with the originating instance.

      Edit: same problem across many instances.
