Has anyone tried any open sourced alternatives to Strava? I haven’t yet but seems there’s a few, checking through alternativeto.net. The only reason I still use Strava is because friends do, but I’m considering getting rid.
Their platform is unenjoyable with the amount of advertising for premium. Every decision they make recently is lowering my opinion of them.
Not FOSS, but i’ve been using intervals.icu as a replacement for all the non-social media functions of strava. Like all the important fitness tracking metrics
It pisses me off that i’ve given strava so many years of data and their analytics are still total trash

What sort of functionality are you looking for? I’ve tried Wanderer, which integrates with Strava and Komoot.
Just the social aspect really. Which makes it difficult cos even if an alternative is spot on, it won’t work unless everyone floods to it.
