I’ve been thinking of the same concept for years! A world where the various factions are based around themes in metal music. And finally someone came up with the same idea and did the awesome worldbuilding! And art by the creator of killsixbilliondemons.com no less!

I am only a tiny-bit dissapointed that the world seems focused on extreme metal and doesn’t quite seem to fit other metal styles. But I won’t let that stop me. I totally plan to create heretic bands around Power Metal, Industrial Metal, Metacore and so on!
