Does KDE connect actually work with SMS on Windows now? Last time I used it, I couldn’t text people, only reply using the notification if they texted me and I happened to click on it quickly enough. Pretty useless.

I don’t really remember SQL, does it prevent you from using a range of values? I can understand why leap seconds would be an issue.
I don’t really get why people use any time other than ms/seconds since the epoch for anything other than displaying that time to the end user. Having time just be a single number with no time zone shenanigans makes writing logic like that so much easier.
You need to make sure to remove excess whitespace from the JSON to speed up parsing. Have an AI read the JSON as plaintext and convert it to a handwriting-style image, then another one to use OCR to convert it back to text. Trailing whitespace will be removed.
I got a laptop with an HDD a while back because I’m an idiot “more storage space hurr durr!”
It took 10-15 minutes to boot and another 5-10 just to open a web browser when it was running Windows 10. Even once stuff was open, everything was so laggy that it wasn’t really usable. I’d miss a solid chunk of whatever we were supposed to be doing on our laptops in class when I was using it for that.
Linux changed EVERYTHING. It boots in just a couple of minutes and only needs a minute or two to settle itself before things start running smoothly. I even managed to play Hollow Knight on it with no lag!
People don’t realize how bloated Windows is until they try Linux. If your computer is slow and was made in the last 10 years, no it isn’t, your OS is.
That’s interesting, thanks
I’m not a huge fan of Maven either. I guess I’m just spoiled by Cargo.
with all the suck taken out.
You still need Gradle, so not all the suck.
No, some guy named Taylor has to train the model for you.
I don’t understand (from a technical standpoint) why they can’t just ship a dual boot that only partitions any real space for an OS once you actually use it. Linux is what, 2-3GB on its own with a DE? You could use less than 1% of a modern computer’s storage to give users the option to activate and allocate space to an already-working Linux install whenever they feel like it, and if they really need those few gigs and don’t want Linux, they could just delete it.
I mean, is C++ any better? Sure, it catches some errors at compile-time, but others can turn into undefined behavior pretty easily.
It’s hard to convey and interpret tone in text-format comments, especially short ones. I can kind of see where he’s coming from, but it’s not really hostile enough to warrant an accusation. It’s curt at most.
THE BESTAGON
They can’t catch you if you hide it behind their router so they can’t see it.
Was anyone punished for the gross negligence? Guessing no.
I suspect that’s what happened to me.
I can’t even get the fuckin’ thing to open half the time. There’s no way in hell I’m using that buggy piece of shit to install important software.
Yeah, it’s amazing at showing you the idiomatic way to do really specific, narrow-scoped things in a language you’re not familiar with… except for when it’s wrong.
I use Codeium and I’ve found it helpful for things like guessing what the next line is if it’s similar to the line I just wrote, but terrible if I’m thinking about how to actually solve a problem and it keeps suggesting wrong answers that make me think about them, realize they’re wrong, forget the solution I was working on in my head before that.
Thanks, you have saved me the time of trying it again.
