So when you go to create the library in jellyfin you don’t see the external drive but see your other drives as options?

Did you create a library in jellyfin?

Can you browse to the files via the mount point? Is the external drive listed at all?
From there you want to make sure you have the location listed as the library location in jellyfin. Then make sure the naming/file structure is correct according to the jellyfin documentation.
Ill give this a shot again but I think I tried this and it didnt sem to help though its been awhile now so Ill give it a go again - thanks!
Yes I have been using Proton - I have tried Hotfix, Experimental and the default one. Haven’t heard of Ge-Before is that something separate?
t
Thats fair - I am using mint but have everything updated so could just be SOL.
I have been having crashes consistently on Linux that I don’t get on windows, personally. But seems more like a me issue as most people say it runs great.

I have setup dual boot for a few months now mostly using Linux for gaming. It MOSTLY works it’s so close to be indistinguishable from the windows experience but I have found having to tinker more than I would like.
What resources does your qbittorrent have access to? CPU cores / Memory. I have tried running it on a Rpi and it CHUGS so I had to aggressively apply seeding limits and general # of connection limit too.

Could it be the file structure of the show?

Yeah seems like a weird choice to have a default storage type that is known in the community to be unreliable.

Yeah it seems a lot of people are saying the SD card is the issue which wouldn’t surprise me. I do have some spare space on my proxmox server but it would just be a huge pain in the dick to move everything… But it’s looking like I may need to sadly.

That’s the weird part is that I don’t have any USB devices attached. I have Ethernet, power cable, and the fan on the case has pins going to some headers.
The case did come with another power supply so maybe I’ll try that and see if anything changes.

Id be willing to try this. How do you have it connected? Just using an external USB attached one?

I am running it from an SD card. Did setting up the watchdog ultimately work for you? I did come across a watchdog as a possible workaround.

That is a good idea! Do you have any recommendations for remote logging?

Submit a feature request my dude.
If you have any torrent service running maybe try stopping that temporarily and see if that helps. I was having a similar issue with stuttering and found another person mentioning qbittorrent as the culprit.
Does the user running the jellyfin service have permissions to read the folder/files? You aren’t running jellyfin in docker by chance, right?
