I was building up some packer stuff. Vsphere-iso plug-in. Tests were going fine and then for reasons I didn’t understand it said it could no longer find the cd creation tool it has just been using.

So I try a few things, nothing works. So I figure I have nothing to lose, I make a new folder to house all the tools in one place. Update Windows system environment path. Restart everything. VScode didn’t have my path statement, Google is of 0 fucking help, and now packer doesn’t work. I least it’s the weekend now.

Constant passing problems, especially when the yaml gets very large and complex. After I implemented a new feature I was pulled into a call with 12-15 people demanding to know why it didn’t work. The new feature worked fine, The guys yaml had the wrong amount of white space and so it didn’t parse.

True. Once I was working on a WPF app and someone looked at it and then showed me a simple YAML file they put together for Ansible and legit thought ‘YAML was better’ and what I was doing was dumb. They considered themselves a programmer.

I was in college. I was talking with a classmate how I tried to burn this OS called Linux that I heard of on TechTV, bit the stupid disc never worked. I leaned how to properly burn iso after that. I would say, having an affinity for math can be a sign of affinity for programming.

Logical abstract thinking, order of operations, and problem solving all transfer. A for loop is just a summation equation for example.

But id say in today’s high level development, being math centric is less important.

So, did some reading as I’m not familiar with what you have. You’re supposed to be an internal fan… Guessing the one in yours is possibly broke.

Since it’s the ISPs device, you could call and say you hear a loud annoying grinding sound like a fan dying (Even though it’s probably already dead) and that you want to replacement unit. And then while you have him on the phone double check their current policy on bringing your own modem and ask for a manager to double check for you ‘as you don’t want this issue to keep happening’

I mean, I’ve been skipping every last one after my Pixel XL bricked itself. Got a Samsung S9+. Waiting for that good Pixel yet. A compelling reason to give up this phone.
