directly from lidarr Add Import List - Custom List? or using a different tool?

I have tried https://github.com/sirk123au/ArrTools lidarr_add_from_list.py Add Artists from a csv formatted file. with little luck.
I spent quite a bit of time matching the artist ID and i just got repeated errors - mostly around headers in my sheet, then commas and tabs. I used the csv template in the hub but gave up after a whilst. Even then if i had managed to succeed this just brings the artist list, not the song etc.

Any suggestions of what could be for me?

Looks like mixarr is for discovering new content? is that true? It does not seem to import or pull old content. I am happy to told they do if i am wrong.

Having a look thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I have lots of single songs rather than albums…culling would be even more problematic. I grabbed my Spotify stuff a whilst ago as xls. I have also been using Qbuz obuz for quite a some time and have them in there .

Snippets as in digital snippets collaged together? Or did you hand draw/paint them? It looks almost like the images we used to make of magazine snips.
I do love an old scool craft project.
Yeh I don’t wanna be faffing with wine…that’s what held me back last time I looked. Didn’t even mind the one off fee for affinity I’d rather pay that and know it’s mine TBH. Curious if can a will eventually make it subscription.
I have been looking at Affinity as a sub for InDesign. I have never actually tried it though. Does it work on Linux?
I dropped Adobe a few years ago, I do love inscape, however yeh it has limitations, gimp for photos. Not found anything to good with text. Been back and forward with Scribus but it’s just so awkward.

It’s one file?
Jumped recently. I was old Mac. It reminds me of when Mac used to be basic. I like it. Less fussy…if you want it to be.

I am in two minds about affinity and tempted to move but i would prefer it on Linux. I use inkscape a lot and that runs nice. But i do need a decent replacement for InDesign.

Did it last month, love it, simple and no annoying stuff. Should have done it years ago.
Its interesting the argument of it’s not MS is now It’s NOT MS

Did it about a month ago. Total newbie. It went pretty smooth other than it not booting straight away, I used the packager the unbuntu guide suggested. I needed to change a Setting and ended up doing it again the following day and used a different packager and then it booted without problem.
Jumping on this and will be starting slowly. I have a newish laptop…that has a broken screen. Alternatively I can pick up a new one. I also have a bunch of portable hard drives.
I have terrible internet (cable) with the phone line sitting at a spot in the hall where I could keep a small dedicated cupboard. So I was thinking something connected by Ethernet.
I want to ideally use it for downloading content and streaming it to devices around the house. Likely firestick or an alternative tv box.
Secondly I would use to stream music to my iPhone outside the house.
Any guides or starting points would be welcome.
ok i added soulbeet which works with slskd. It isnt bad, simple enough to setup like the arrs. UI is simple to navigate but basic functionality.
In terms of finding content it does, but its a tad slow, its a good 90 seconds cycle to typing a song title, it then looks for it, i confirm its the correct option, it then relooks for the actual file. It then bounces across to a dl list.
Mine 90% says error but when i look in slskd its kinda actioned.
It is supposed to move the file from download to my library, it does not do that, i have the same with lidarr…so i think thats something wrong in my setup…i suspect filepath confusion.
It does not import playlist (dev says coming) or multiplesongs/a list facility. so its just type a song at a a time.
It places everything in a ‘singles’ folder which seems to sit alongside the albums folders. which is not quite a cohesive library. When i chose to manually move my singles (due to the non auto move) it took all my content inc the albums and put everything as singles, so now my library jellyfin/finamp does not display albums. Library management is tricky…anyone got a suggested setup?
