fully agree but the head coder is aggressively anti-foss on mastodon and I don’t like that. trilium is a decent alternative but it doesn’t have a phone app, and no not triliumnext.

Huh

Unraid pay system switch made me never want to use them

I found it oddly good at finding hidden pages containing the exact terms I was looking for but horrible at more general stuff

I found the best option markdown on my pc and a notepad outside.

obsidian is not FOSS BTW

Pen and paper is great for this. I like Baikal for server though.

The best thing about paperless-ngx in my onion is the high degree of automation.

When it takes zero time to find a torrent, no I cannot understand needing a service to save ten seconds

Right! I did the work to do it but found it a waste of time. It takes ten seconds to find what I want why do I need fifty eleven servers to do that for me

Downloading a torrent manually does the same thing. Right now is still waiting for the download

Never understood the purpose of any of the arr stack. Finding the torrent is fun for me. I only need like three trackers.

Me

Baikal is much easier
Even more reason for no excuse
It takes two seconds to get https and 10 bucks a year for a domain. Come on

Why though? The joy is reading not reading bad versions of the same content?

I found Baikal the easiest to setup :) never had to touch it again and works on all my platforms. Many caldav servers have issues with iOS because the devs are bad at caldav.
NC works but it’s bloated if that’s all you want

Would those solutions have online editors I can use remotely via web? Of course using a vpn
ive cracked it before but was unsure if i trusted it or not
