Awesome, thanks! I’ll check it out.

Yeah, accidentally got the alarm too. I think it started a countdown to actually dialing 911, but didnt make it to 0 before i cancelled it. Well, I hope thats what it was anyways. Freaked me out.
Then I started thinking about if it did that when I was actually in trouble. I mean, if i was being held at gunpoint, I don’t think I want a giant alarm going off. I worry that would be a great way to get myself shot.
But, then I was ultimately thankful for it, in the circumstance at least, cause then it definitely would have dialed 911 and wouldn’t have known…
I still wish there was a way to call silently though. Or, maybe there is, but im not gonna purposefully get to the point where I could find out.
Thank you for the clarification.
I was not a previous sync user, but it seems to be a beloved app. Although…
I am somewhat surprised at the use of personal data in the privacy policy.
I understand a guy’s gotta make a living, but with all the hype, I’m not sure I expected this.
I would maybe check out Hiking project if your in North America. It looks really similar to all trails, except you have to download particular areas. The drawback is that the user input is almost nonexistent on smaller, local trails. More popular trails have some good info though. This definitely seems like it has promise.
Then theres Farout (formerly guthook) - I’ve heard this app mentioned alot as the preferred way to navigate trails like the AP or CDT. It costs money, and it’s not cheap, but you can download the app and continue as a guest and check put some of the free maps they provide.
Side note: I had no idea about this!
Jokes on them. I literally can’t make up my mind about what I’m trying to say and delete half of what I write multiple times before rewriting it. They must get so annoyed. Haha. I’ve always wondered how they respond so quickly though…
Also, that’s not cool. I could write sensitive information in there before deciding it would be best not to do that. Yet, they can still see it. It would be nice to have a way to put a stop to that. If for nothing else, but for ignorant people like me.
