2. If a game is released on GOG, there are Checksums that are hidden from the user. GOG games are DRM-free, so there’s no reason anyone would modify the installer.

Except h265 is only ever used for 4k outside piracy. This is because Codec licensing issues.

Someone ought to write a Node.js fork that includes native implementations of popular modules that are unlikely to need maintenance like isodd. Then come with a custom version of NPM that refuse to install the packages.
