The Android app has an option in settings, chats, and chat backup. I don’t see how to make it take a local backup but apparently it has one already recently.

Why are people saying local backups are gone?
Microsoft Edge’s ePub reader was so good! I would have used it all the time for reading if it hadn’t met its demise. Is there no equivalent fork or project out there? The existing epub readers always have these quirks that annoy me to the point where I’ll just use Calibre’s built in reader which works well enough.
EPubs are just websites bound in xhtml or something. Could we just not make every browser also an epub reader? (I just like epubs).
Ah, so it’s shit? I didn’t realise lol.
If it was a good app at all, could anybody fork it? Or was it propietary?
Honestly, we are spoilt for choice with podcast apps, with Tsacdop and AntennaPod, and Pocketcasts, a mostly free to use propietary app.
The fumble was letting it go obviously!
KaiOS, also known as Mozilla’s biggest fumble to date.
Their company is run by scammers it seems. Louis Rossman’s videos are informative.
Does it lose any MS connected features? Other than surveillance.
Lol, some would call you over remain-minded. I appreciate that you miss what you lost clearly (beyond even the wages).
As an EU citizen in blighty, I care even less about the EU than before seeing that even the wealthiest countries within the EU have regressed socially and politically.
Obviously your own issue doesn’t have much to do with EU countries’ domestic policies, you relied on UK membership of the EU for trade.
It’s wierd on their android app, but I’m still looking forward to making it work for me.
On a related note, I believe Indians are emigrating to other EU countries too - it wouldn’t surprise me if India’s rise was a consideration for brexit. Naturally Indians (as with most people who wish to immigrate tbh) want to come to an English speaking country.
Same, it’s not a light app, but using what feels like a browser to take notes is pretty cool.
I’ve never heard of BeautyXT, seems new considering the material 3 design. I’ve never heard of the Accrescent app store either.
The ownership and workers (of Evernote) changed somewhat recently, so that’s probably what happened.
So err, do you think the country has any chance of fixing stuff up, considering Poland is on track to overtake the UK at this rate, within a decade? And have perhaps some of your political ideas/values or strongly held beliefs changed at all?
It’s fine. Very much AR-vibes like others say.
That’s cool, it means it can be adopted and used without a corporate tinge to it.
Isn’t Librem the one so slow to ship products and do refunds thereafter, it’s basically a scam? Yes, it is. It’s the Purism scam company. I watched a video on it. It was informative and unfortunate.
GrapheneOS is good apparently, even though I’m wary of the idea that a phone that Google sells could ever be secure…
