As a person that has a lot of ideas and no coding or art knowledge, it sucks because I know I can’t expect someone else to do it for me and I don’t have the time or mental capacity to learn. I guess I can just have AI do it for me now /s

If the AI works then fantastic. It’s inevitable so it’s going to get used by companies but the issue is companies using it without understanding what it does or what it’s capable of doing.
It is where the future is headed. Companies either hop on the bandwagon or get left behind.
They are top posts for a reason. It’s because people enjoy them. Everyone has the choice to ignore them.

GE has garbage company for a very long time. It’s a shell of its former self. If I’m paying for a product I am going to do whatever I want with it because it’s my money. And if a company has a problem with that, it sounds like the company needs to fix it on their end. If it’s possible to create a plugin that cost your company millions of dollars is obviously you’re not running your company properly.

My journey to Linux pretty much started with the reddit thing. I moved to Lemmy and started slowly eliminating corporations out of my life.
I feel like most of these computers are underpowered and worthless to most people outside of a web browsing machine. Which is fine I guess if you don’t have a computer at all. But when some of us are rocking six or seven computers in our house, do we need anymore?
As I get older, farming seems more enjoyable than dealing with technology. Sometimes it’s nice to just slow down.
