I think the issue is trying to figure it out. I can build computers all day long but just about anything I want to do in Linux requires a browser and a search engine.
You’re also comparing hardware vs. software for your thoughtful dig of the OP, which are very different.

I was just curious what other limitations you’ve encountered. Didn’t need to name them all if it’s a lot, lol. I use WSL2 on occasion but I’m not super familiar so i was curious what things could be gotchas.

This got me curious what these acronyms were. I found this information interesting.
I feel like half the posts in this community are people trying to figure out how to do something and the other half are saying Linux is perfect and always just works. Is this the difference between someone that has used Linux for a long time vs. not?
Honestly it’s simple things like this that keep people from using Linux, myself included. I even run some servers on Linux and it’s always a struggle to get anything done.
