ive seen it a few times on those screens that buses here have, that shows the next stations on the route.
but never on any of my computers
(im refering to those old ‘kernel panic’ messages)

aparently you know more than we here.
i had to look it up,
but aparently Decentraleyes isnt being maintained and grew more useless as the time went on.
aparently localCDN is a better mantained alternative.
next to ublock i also use Decentraleyes
(further protection aganst tracking,
probably a bit less mobile usage,
and otherwise 0 impact)
video background play fix
(prevents youtube from stopping if my smartphone is locked)
ublacklist
(prevents sites you hate from appearing in your google search results (mostly fandom.com for me))
welcome to the club 😂
did it overwrite your GRUB partition or did it just remove the uefi entry?
iirc the later is pretty easy to fix with efibootmgr if you have a live cd / usb
its an sql injection attack.
its rather unlikely that it works in a modern app.
assuming this would work,
it injects a command in the sql database.
it is assumed that the app runs a sql querry with the input field as a parameter e.g.
INSERT INTO "bills" (item, ammount, tip) VALUES ("steak", "20,00 $", "content of the custom tip goes here");
the semicolon indicates the end of the querry,
so the the text would cause the app to run an unfinished querry, and then start a new querry that messes up the content of the bills table.
:killall -9 vim
im almost sad that its linux that became the dominating open source kernel instead of “GNU’s Not Unix! Hird of Unix-Replacing Daemons”
(hird stands for “Hurd of Interfaces Representing Depth”)
just say you prefer nano,
it will instantly kill the vibe
🤔 wondering what the emacs equivalent would be
wake me up when theres a vim plugin and a linux port
probably wont be the name for long anyway.
aparently F5 Networks. owns a trademark for nginx.
what does half stable mean?
stable os with fresh applications?
if thats what you are looking for,
maybe debian with flatpacks for fresher softwares?
or if you also dont like flatpack, maybe
debian with nix
i honestly havent noticed a diffrence since i switched to a flatpack heavy distro (normal fedora to silverblue)
you can actuall stop it by pressing ctrl-z and running bg
maybe on some public displays,
but those surely wont update to such a new kernel for a long time
