Flexitarian bicycle commuter (he/him) from the Netherlands.
My Iceshrimp account can be found here (accounts on Mastodon etc. can follow that account too).
My Pixelfed account on Pixey.
AFAIK lemmy.ml is the only instance that still has the filter on. When federation was not enabled yet and there practically were only two (!) instances up and running, people on Lemmy were already pointing out that things like posted by OP would happen. 😆
Edit: I think however, that this case was mostly in jest and on purpose.
For the uninitiated: his wife was murdered by him.
OP states to have the Pi already.
.webm is but a container, so it cannot be considered (in)efficient on its own, only when considering the video and audio “formats” (no expert on the terminology) within (probably VP8 or 9 for video).
Either with an extension or with the Mobile version of the browser.
Plan 9 is also monolithic, according to wikipedia. For BSD it depends.
My music player suggestions for local playback on Linux. Please note that you could pick any of these no matter the desktop environment if you do not care about consistently in look and feel. In that case I suggest to go with Strawberry.
Good news. I mean, I do not mind using Strawberry but more active development beneath the KDE banner is perhaps the right thing to do.
I was tossed back to the login screen, but was fine otherwise. I am on Wayland by the way, maybe this issue is an X11 exclusive one.
I believe it is U-space on top, but I could be wrong.
It is possible to install it on ext4 as well.
I would not know exactly in this case. Only that I once noticed somewhat indirectly and unofficailly that some folks on that instance see matters that way.
It is a Mastodon account that OP is using to post here after their Lemmy account got banned. There are plenty posts made but not visible (on Lemmy) unless you go to their Mastodon.
TBH I currently only “own” the game because of a voucher tied to my RX6600. Else I would have waited, too.
Sidenote: in 1080p it runs at ~50-60FPS without FSR (native resolution). Plays on Windows and Linux about evenly well, albeit that I have seen some graphical glitches (on Linux, did not try to reproduce them on Windows 10) e.g. my follower doing a bl*ckface for no reason.
Waking and sleeping does not work properly with my RX6600+wayland either (MX Linux). So I think you are (besides being rude) also partially incorrect. I get Arch family is not for regular people, but otherwise I kind of think you need to rethink your comment.
Linux Mint does not use very recent versions of the gfx drivers for that card (IIRC from last time I checked). My RX6600 therefore had some performance hit when I ran Mint (compared to Windows or other Linux distros). Arguably one could bump the installed versions of xserver-xorg-drivers-amdgpu and mesa-vulkan-drivers to more recent versions. You could have a look into the repo with Synaptic Package Manager and see whether there is a more recent version of the relevant stuff available (perhaps you need to allow for “testing” software source.
Which does not mean that people like A.S. Tanenbaum should not be deserving recognition. With other words, your comment does not contribute to this thread.
