I’m just waiting for flawless Waydroid compatibility on Linux phones.
If I can run any Android app within Linux, I’m sold. basically wine and proton for Android apps that would be amazing.

Well, one of the alternatives is what ID Software used to do, where they would sell the game for a period of time and then open source the code Once sales dropped off.
Super Tux Kart is actually great. Open Arena is just Quake 3 with original art. IMO Open Arena is criminally underrated
The open sourcing of the quake engine is where a lot of modern engines got their roots.
Its funny how familiarity works. I think doing simple stuff in windows in infuriating now that im used yo Linux.
LQXT. Its both good looking and lightning fast.
Who said anything about giving money to Adobe? Yarg.
As a graphic designer, you don’t really have much of a choice, unless you’re independent.
All it’s missing from me are anti-cheat games and Adobe products.
Ironically im still downvoted despite you clearing this up… sigh
Nah Im not giving a cent to Linus Sebastian until he releases the sexual harassment investigation results he lied about releasing.

Now, Inkscape is Goat, but Gimp is nigh unusable.
If literally any Adobe competitor released a product for Linux they’d dominate that niche.

I quite like his podcast he does for Patreon members every week. Just a short life/channel update series.
How much speed do you need to read lemmy?
I’m aware, I’m saying if it gets to wine/proton levels of compatibility, it’d be hype
