So for now - fixtf2 worked! There are near zero bots and bot hosters and creators got steam banned. Last scream fortress 2023 was unplayable… this year I almost cried as I was playing through my contracts with no issues.

i was about to shit my pants that this wasn’t mentioned. i love this game. and we’re currently botless.
Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like the thumbnail qualities have gotten really bad lately… Am I the only one
Edit - disregard, I think it’s voyager
doubt edit - now it’s not that https://lemmy.ml/post/22240938
Sway is bae. Been using it for a bit now… I just really like how responsive it is. Bless the pinephones sxmo project to teaching me the way.
Fam, people are insanely petty… I frequent the pinephone channel rooms and I can almost predict when someone is about to post some toxic(sometimes illegal) shit there. All because someone didn’t read and or doesn’t have enough base Linux experience for such a janky phone and they’re butt-hurt over their investment. Bless text only clients.
So… It’s not without it’s challenges and I obviously cannot speak to how long it will last (particularly the hinge seems like it might long term be an issue), but I really love my p8 mini laptop. It’s a small 2 in 1 laptop that comes with a stylus, meets your price point and runs Linux pretty well. It has some quirkiness … Like when you boot the login screen is a blank screen until you close the lid to suspend and reopen. But otherwise is fairly peppy, and the pen works great. I’m using endeavoros with plasma but have just switched to sway. The latter greatly improves battery life. My biggest complaint is the placement of Q and Tab as well as / and .
I could be wrong… But I believe it’s a big release they’ve been talking about for a long time but haven’t gotten there yet. Like I recall talks about it at least a year ago… But I am not known for my stellar memory 🤷
so i have’t really gotten to test this hard but seems like 4ish to 6ish hrs of work… It does get a lil warm but I have my plasma settings to change cpu gov on power events and that really helps… i think i could get more if I switched to sway or something. It suspends really well with only loosing a percent or two overnight and hibernating works.
The only things that aren’t working out of box are autorotating the screen and when the device boots up it seems to want to display the login screen on a screen other than the default. A simple closing the lid, waiting for it to sleep and reopening the screen fixes this. Or if you have an external monitor it’ll output there by default. I feel like the latter could easily be fixed as it feels like I need to default it do the correct screen and I suspect it’s picking up the touch screen device as the display… It shows up on the battery settings as a display with a discharging battery for some reason. The auto rotating doesn’t bother me… I prefer having explicit control of the rotation for my needs.
I’m using endeavoros with plasma 6
So I’m like a week in… but I bought an ‘p8 mini laptop’ off ebay as it found a sale cheaper than aliexpress… but i’m loving it. n100, 12gb ram and 512gb hd. amaa
Necro edit - forgot to mention I got it for 330 pulse shipping
I should never type pre lunch. <3
i love this.
lol, yes! I’m keeping the error though for prosperity.
I use parsec pretty often. It should work but moonshine/sunset is less latency in my experience
…Windows me… Iykyk
Genuinely curious, can you enlighten me… I haven’t kept up with rpi stuff… Since… hm 3b I think. But my pinephone pro just crapped out…so I was looking for options.
Isn’t the meta gnome users hate us and vice versa? I don’t care to think much about it but I feel like I’ve seen a few memes…
so i was fortunate to find someones dotfiles for their neomutt install. i basically just had to trade in my credentials and i was good to go… i might still have them somewhere…
