They have all been involved since the beginning afaik, but the others didn’t make videos in the beginning. It’s always been an exploration of various things rather than being a specific topic. The best way I would describe it is scientific method the channel but that’s not entirely accurate, it’s like the journey is the destination, of going through the motions of accomplishing whatever task they set out to do in the beginning of the video.

Annual releases are not for everyone, not everyone upgrades the same year. They still should consider doing away with those if they don’t have anything to add, like not even a processor upgrade but it’s not meaningless

I don’t buy the piracy thing either but your proof is bad because there are so many Indians that they will always overwhelm in sheer numbers even if it’s a small percentage of the whole population

Again, if someone enjoys it or wants to do it that way, more power to them but if someone wants a common interface for most things without learning the specifics of something and the commands for it then they’ll want a good gui, if it’s not available they’ll end up cribbing about it.

I haven’t tried Linux on desktop in years but I would like to explain why power users might prefer not learning the command line: they don’t want to learn/memorize/understand the commands needed as that would take away from other things they want to spend that time on, I’m not sure why gui doesn’t hold that friction but it doesn’t
