I hate it
All I see is one more reason to turn to piracy
It’s harder to notice the difference at first. When I first got my 144Hz monitor I had trouble distinguishing between the two, but now I can immediately tell (and it’s made going back to gaming at 60fps really difficult lol).
If you keep using 120Hz mode, then after a while you’ll definitely feel the difference between the two.
That said unless you game on your phone a lot, I don’t know how useful it is to have it set to 120, especially if it drains more battery.
/r/Piracy is not a place. Never was. This could be /r/Piracy. /r/Piracy is where our people stand.
You know, I was actually wondering about that recently. I watched The Thing in 4K and I sort of regreted it; I loved the movie, but I can only imagine how much better of an experience it would’ve been to watch it on VHS back in the day.
Tried looking for some kind of video player or something that could emulate the look of VHS (not unlike shaders like CRT Royale do for retro games), but couldn’t find anything.
If anyone knows about something like this, let me know.
