Ad Hoc is like the real AirDrop. It creates a Network between the two devices that gets disconnected afterwords. The Advantage is that you dont need wifi or to activate a hotspot.
I started because of ProxMox on my Server. I started about a Year ago with Linux Desktops because of Privacy. I wanted to only use it for Office and have a Windows Dual Boot for Gaming. Then i tried a few Games on Linux and realized that Proton is great. Then i only used Linux. Then i deleted Windows. Now i love Linux and Hate Windows
Fedora. Dont get me wrong it is a great Distro but i did not really felt at home when using it.
I tried calling the support today but i did not get to anyone. I will try again later. If i cant contact support i will probably send it back.

I use KiwiBrowsed but i want to switch to fennec because the chromium base of kiwi is bothering me. The only thing that is preventing me from switching is the speed of fennec. Its just not as fast as kiwi.
I really tried to love it. I tweaked a lot of settings but i never quite got the results i wanted. I still have a selfhosted instance running for occasional use. But i mainly use DuckDuckGo now.
I think there wont really be a good alternative any time soon, because those services need to be trained. You might find some open source shazam client.
Currently ZorinOS on my Main Machine and Arch on my Notebook, but when i have my new AMD GPU i will use Fedora.
