Every night is still probably overkill. My neighbors’ APs rarely/never change channels.
Using the UniFi WiFiman app on a gigabit fiber connection from my phone to a U6 Long-Range access point (802.11ax, 40 MHz, crowded suburban area, channel scanning each night with auto-select enabled), I’m getting 321 Mbps down and 402 Mbps up.
For anything for which I care about getting the most speed within my network, I use Ethernet.
Good point!
It’s especially nice to use either of these on Linux because you can use symlinks to have the server think the audio files are in more than one place without using any extra storage space.
Yes, but it’s a regular expression.
Thanks, I’ve never tried via mobile. It’s been a while since I’ve added or commented on Bugzilla.
Just make sure to always be careful with recursion.
Unfortunately, I’m not in the EU, so I have to live with the Safari rendering engine for the foreseeable future. I sure would love Gecko on iOS though.
Yes, there are use cases for your suggestion, but it doesn’t make the bugs in Focus go away.
Not yet. It’s been bothering me a while. I ended up with time to document it, but I’m not at my computer currently, so I’ll do that later.
I use that, too, but I do like the single tab workflow for many tasks I do.
I’ve used https://draw.io (apparently https://app.diagrams.net/ now) before for this exact purpose. I mapped out network, devices, and services.
I use pretty much every platform each week. It’s not enough of a problem to avoid the whole platform. These two problems are things Mozilla needs to fix.
This was going to be my suggestion. It may seem like you need a ui.com account for it, but there is a way to use the equipment without one.
Got with Xfce edition of either EndeavourOS (Arch based) or Mint (Ubuntu based). They’re both easy to set up.
XFCE is a lightweight desktop environment with all you’d expect from a Windows 7 machine (and more).
Long-time happy TigerVNC user. Solid product. Active development. Responsive to bug reports and feature requests.

I’ve always liked how the Mastodon app, Ice Cubes, does it:
