Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Lutris maintainer: "I've removed the Claude co-authorship from the commits a few days ago. So good luck figuring out what's generated and what is not."English

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Do you stick to the same linux distro across your devices?English
5·1 month agoI use NixOS on everything ! This way, I can re-use parts of my configuration as a base, and customise only the few things that need to change from one machine to the other.
The only exception is my Steam Deck. I trust Valve on that one, and my usage of it is so different from other computers as to make 95% of my config entirely irrelevant anyway.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•How "heavy" is self-hosting matrix really?English
2·2 months agoWelp. This comment has completely killed all my enthusiasm for matrix 😅 I had no idea it was such a horrible mess under the hood…
I’m trying to move some communities off Discord to something self hosted but I don’t know enough about SMPP to know if it would do the job.
Nix is the next step in that evolution. It’s basically just JSON that can generate itself !

Corsair Virtuoso XT ! Best microphone on a wireless headset I’ve ever heard !
Remember to use JamesDSP and make a profile with the proper AutoEQ data no matter which headset you buy ! Makes it sound instantly much better and less muddled. I can’t live without it x)
