I run the same for years and has been rock solid.
Tbf, if you know how to install Linux from a usb drive the proxmox should be a breeze. After you run though the install, go to the url it prints out and mess around. The UI is pretty straight forward.
This is the way. Have back ups scheduled within Proxmox that save to an external storage source.
What issues did it cause before you noticed problems? I have a few Tuya devices and the same coordinator chip. I haven’t noticed any issues with my zigbee network, but I guess it could be a matter of time if I add more Tuya devices.
Yep, been wanting this ever since I set up home assistant.
Thanks for the post. I always forget to update z2m until I add a device that isn’t supported.
Not dns then. For some reason you can’t reach the default gateway
can you ping 8.8.8.8?
In the UI, go to your host -> system -> network and confirm that you have a default gateway set.
Can you link the 4 bay that you have. I’ve been thinking of getting a 4+ bay recently but have no idea where to start.
Sudo?
Wasn’t that the joke? Iirc Hammond cut a fuck ton of corners.
Does that still allow other Plex users the ability to play remotely without having to use Plex relay?
I agree on this comment. I run a couple of these and they work great. If you want to go even cheaper I have setup my sibling with this one running proxmox with a Plex and WireGuard lxc and an HAOS vm. It will hw transcode just fine as long as you are the only user.
I worked on a legacy application that was built in the 90s that implemented time zones by taking the Unix timestamp at eastern time and then added or subtracted the minutes needed to represent that time zone. shudder
Love proxmox. Been using it for nearly a decade and while it has its pain points it has been rock solid for me for the past 4 years.
Yeah, this one blows my mind because I would have assumed that the intent processing when issuing a command would be the same on the watch as it is on any other Google device and to NOT do that would require more work.
I don’t even know your sister…
