Shitting on Gnome if you use a tiled desktop manager is fair game.
Shitting on Gnome if you use KDE is just dumb
I had no idea it was based on Arch… I thought I read somewhere that Steam was only officially packaged for Debian or Ubuntu.
They must have been a former Duke Nukem Forever project manager
But the backup is on the hard drive. /s (but also not necessarily)
I was gonna say that it looks like every Linux install I’ve ever booted… But then I realized 90% of them have been Debian or Debian-based 😅
Oh interesting! I actually found Wayland to have a bit of an edge vs X. I just didn’t like the Unity environment from Ubuntu so I’ve been using i3.
I’ll have to give Sway a try
Is Sway like a Wayland equivalent of i3? That’s the only thing really keeping me on X
You don’t use multiple tabbed windows to sort what you’re doing?
Why isn’t the company providing its employees with the required tools to do the work?
Webdings
Pretend you’re using Ancient Aliens tech
Is that function a niche thing? I’ve never needed it and don’t know anybody who has… What are some situations where it might need to be used?
Absolute bloat.

Man, I’ve never thought about cursors at such a macro level before… Is the way it changes based on context of what it’s hovering something really technical, or is there a call of some sort sent from the OS that is interpreted?
Less secure than blindly installing flatpaks or appimages?
I hate them both, give me a .Deb (or equivalent) if you’re gonna package it. And get off my lawn! 🤣
I appreciate that they made the name easier for people to know to avoid lol
No? Those keyboards aren’t even all that great. Why not just buy a mechanical one and call it a day?
Also, what’s wrong with the super key? Especially considering it’s also used in Linux
I used to like Ubuntu, but I got so sick for not being able to do things due to packages being out of date, and/or snaps getting in the way.
I ditched it for arch and I’m so much happier
