Listen I’ve got garuda (the only thing I touch if I can help it), windows 11 (idk why but it hasn’t been able to update in a long time, so it’s basically useless), windows 10 on hdd (actually might be 8), and a 10 year old copy of Ubuntu on an hdd as my boot options because I just copied my college hdds when I upgraded them a few years ago.
There are a lot of things she does but that aint one of them

Oh that explains why my wife is gay

9.5 years is pretty good if you think of it as tech, but the problem is that smart home products are often home appliances. Some are even home fixtures. So yeah people feel cheated when something like a light switch gets dropped from service or demands a subscription
You can’t just ask someone if they use þorn
Because linux wasn’t a problem for me gaming anymore

My wife is excited to hear this lol

I didn’t know he has new stuff, thats awesome

Always love to see some Pat the Bunny round here

It isn’t. I just don’t feel like swapping
Yeah I just wanted off mr corporation’s wild ride

Yeah I remember when he was a big name doing that shit. Then he recently popped up talking linux. And in between it became a somewhat regular occurrence in my country for people to march with swastika flags. For all I knew it was edgy jokes from an era where fascism was still outside the Overton window, or he just became a low key supporter of modern fascism but without any stunts big enough to get noticed
The two people I trust least on matters of science are some person who reckons it’s common sense and someone with a doctorate in something vaguely similar.
The third and fourth are every engineer and every physician that isn’t actually an expert on the thing, but that’s because we think we know everything.
It will feature all sorts of jokes about using qwerty and windows

Yeah I’m increasingly unwilling to put up with subscriptions that arent reasonable. If you’re selling a piece of software, I’ll consider paying for it. I love foundry for that, its a vtt that I bought and it just works. They update it, but I don’t expect or demand updates beyond keeping it working. And if they were to offer more features in the future with a new model I’d consider paying for the new model.

Yeah its kinda based lol
I’m definitely getting into self hosting because of the DIY thing. The rise of modern smart homes has led to homeaasistant being a great diy project for those inclined towards fucking around with their home and those who’d rather not have corpo scum surveil them because of it
