Very strange - I hadn’t thought of Mike Patton in ages and I feel like in just the past week I stumbled across both Mr. Bungle and Dillinger Escape Plan ( or Dillinger Escape Hatch as my buddy who passed away this year always called them) and now this…
Don’t know this album; I’ll have to check it out…
I’ve got ollama setup with whisper and piper and a HA voice PE, but I honestly haven’t gotten around to configuring much yet. Most notable thing was being able to use the wake word to start a timer, but it was pickier than old Siri about the precise wording.
I don’t like “Context” either but I see how you get there.
“Go to Comment” is wrong, IMO, because it suggests going to the comment itself; not the parent.
“Parent Comment” is good, but what if the parent is a Post rather than a Comment
You could change based on parent type, but “Parent Post” sounds weird; simplifying to “Post” doesn’t work because of verb confusion.
So “Context” seems best to me of those options…
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think so?
e.g. This is the URL Voyager gave me when I long pressed your first reply to my first comment and chose “Share”:
Reddit does still have this feature if you use the old.reddit.com interface. It’s called “Context” and shows the parent comment to your comment and all its child comments including yours.
Back when I used Reddit, I used this all the time and also missed it in Lemmy when I first switched. I had actually forgotten about this but would love to have this feature too.
I may not be following what you’re asking for, but if I go to my profile where my comments are listed and tap one of my comments I see all the replies to that comment.
Are you trying to get to siblings of your comment instead of its children?
The only thing Plex has that Emby & Jellyfin don’t, that I think is pretty neat, is the combining of multiple servers in one library UI. That’s it.
For myself I can access jellyfin from my tailnet, but Plex also makes secure sharing with friends and family over the internet simple.
You also get their OTA broadcast guide for free with plex pass. I doubt anyone else will ever offer that. The cheapest option I know of is HDHomerun’s for $35/year.
With those two things I suspect I’ll be sticking with Plex (if not exclusively) until they go out of business.
Plex Pass certainly has functionality and features that jellyfin doesn’t; just not $750 worth…

Well it must have been out for a couple years by the time I got it then - there’s no way I’m that old…

One of the few albums I actually had as a young kid back when it was originally released…
Just brought back a flood of memories…
Do you have more info on this? I thought I’d read some questionable stuff about the guy but when I was looking into TRMNL again more recently I couldn’t find any of the dirty laundry and thought maybe I’d imagined it.
I had no clue there was a watch app. I launched it and it automatically connected to my instance and allowed me to open my Home feed. No special setup needed.
Seems like it just shows a single post at a time and lets me choose “Next Post” or “Save”.
I know this doesn’t really help solve your problem, but hopefully it’s somewhat helpful to know how it “should” work.

I’m seeing it too. Only difference is I’m getting the light mode version

You can long press on a community name from the feed and block it
I’ve been having what I believe is the same issue on iOS. Dunno which version it started with and I’m on the beta, but it fits the entire content within the phone’s display instead of how the content is typically displayed zoomed in to the corners get rounded with the display’s rounded corners. (Hope that made sense; it’s hard to explain)

I don’t know what’s correct; maybe I’ve just gotten used to this?
But, specifically, my experience is with external links to images the images appear full size while with links to websites the hero image (I don’t know if that’s the correct term) isn’t. I also don’t know how a hero image is chosen when a website has multiple images.

The score was zero when I asked. I thought maybe there was something problematic with it…
