Oh, that’s what I do, you just have to customize it. I have media with images, music and videos inside.

I always change the defaults to another place and to have another naming. Just camel casing those folders is already stupidly annoying. I guess one more silly one into another folder out of view.
I already do the following:
Also works good in macos. Been using it instead of the lima/colima stack for a few weeks now.

Deep package insertion.
I initially used jerboa for a long time, but I don’t remember what made me try something else. I settled on Thunder, but initially it was very weird and ugly. Had to spend a bunch of time in the settings to configure it in a way that made sense to me. Now it feels natural.

Never noticed the issue.

I don’t think I’ve ever not done #5 in all places I’ve worked. It’s insane to even think otherwise. What happens is that if anything really urgent needs to bypass the process, then the team lead or someone in high power can merge or bypass the normal procedure, but that’s rare.

Mandrake, Connectiva, Mandriva… Good times. Still preferred Knopix at the time.

That person homepage, the posts, the avatar… Yeah full vibe on.
One of the top reasons for Scala is the jvm, you can use every library out there that already exists. If you have the needs to integrate with something almost certainly some library exists for it on the jvm so you can just use it and get work done reasonably quickly.
Which have been removed and there haven’t been any major issues with anyone in years.
I went in there. It seems that it’s a Newpipe fork.

There’s a lot of big applications and systems built with it. You just don’t hear about it because it’s not cool.

It’s a good fit in the infosec space in the age of sloppiness.

It started as a fork of nix for that exact reason so…
Most people don’t need 3rd party clients and just use the web interface or wtv is the native app for the product they are using. Using thunderbird or K9 clients for example is a fringe use case for most people anyway.

That really would depend on the quality of hardware and drivers. Only more than 10 years ago did I got that and it was a weird laptop barely working would linux.
This is exactly how we make the year of linux happen. For an alternative OS to enter mainstream it needs to be at the level os windows, so should have lots of malware around.
