you do realize in this regard google/Apple are two sides of the same coin right?
What? Just use an unique string that doesn’t give google results. When your site is inevitably crawled then you will be the one result
Wow that made me so fucking uncomfortable, from the serious adverse affects requiring surgical intervention, the company trying to shout down negativity and just leaving these poor people to continue suffering….
It’s all so horrid, I can’t imagine the stress and impact
Or content you have purchased and have now lost access too, or shit if you buy something at all you can ethically pirate it. You already paid!!
For VPN, I use mullvad which is quite reasonable in pricing and is quite good with speeds and such as well as privacy concerns.
Back when I used OS X for torrents I used an app called Transmission. Not sure if it still exists or if there are better alternatives these days. (Edit: transmission app’s website)
I can’t help when it comes to courses tho, you just need to find a torrent site like torrentleech or ipt or whatever that has the content you’re looking for.
I say learn about torrents first, don’t bother talking about what you want to torrent. Once you have a working understanding then go in search of the niche content you’re talking about here.
Feel free to ask me any torrent related questions
Yes truly just not worth the money or effort lol
So true lol. Mgmt just announced a directive at my work last week that code must have 95-100% coverage.
Meanwhile they hire contractors from india that write the dumbest, most useless tests possible. I’ve worked with many great Indian devs but the contractors we use today all seem like a step down in quality. More work for me I guess
Ah yes, spez. I got permabanned the day 3p died for harrasment, clicked the link and it was a comment I had made a week prior insulting spez.
He really leans into the man baby version of Elon
Shit, I like HEVC in theory for the compression especially but it’s copyrighted bullshit or whatever.
I use Plex with lifetime pass on my QNAP NAS and it has to hardware transcode HEVC to a playable format because of said copyrighted bullshit.
It doesn’t affect me that much unless I’m trying to jump around on the media as it will need to load. The other thing is that you can have Plex save transcodes but that obviously gobbles up disk space.
tl;dr 264 = 👑
Thanks!! I’m relatively new myself, although I’ve been off and on since the death of 3P on that other place. Trying to rebuild my collection of communities and such
