I’m interested in #anarchism, #Esperanto, #Linux, #FOSS, gaming and music, among other things. Antifascist for life.
yup, i use kde’s screenshot tool on plasma but still miss flameshot
i use kde plasma with polonium with zero issues
yup, same. especially after explicit sync lands in a couple of days, even the rest of the minor problems should vanish.
which desktop environment are you using?
i’m fine with this nor do i have a problem with systemd in genereal
go to settings -> privacy & security -> permissions -> location settings
it’s arch based, though immutable as i understand
depends on the application. check here for a list how make different backends use xwayland: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Wayland#GUI_libraries
i have the same problem. for example in kitty (which uses wayland) the cursor becomes larger.
i’ve been using rc2 for a couple of weeks and it’s really good improvement over 5.27, which was also a quite solid release.
i tried recently compiling the epoch build on machine, but it didn’t start. maybe because of my nvidia card. nevertheless i’ll be installing this as soon as it hits the arch repos!
i’ve installed neovim with nix package manager on mint.
i love newsboat and it’s always open on my yakuake!
yeah, i also wholeheartedly recommend ventoy
many times it’s faster to do stuff in terminal than in gui
cachyos
there’s no slowdowns on freetube either
i’m using 4070tis on plasma wayland and haven’t had any problems with gaming or other desktop usage with the newest drivers.
