keepassxc is for desktop and keepassdx is for android and ios(?)
there is also keepass 2 but that has some vulnerabilities, as i understand
keepassxc is based in germany, as it seems.


i tend to handle my debugging stuff the way i deal with old cables in the drawer. don’t get rid of them, there will be that one day (propably not) when all hell break lose, i’m happy i din’t toss it.
but yeah, from a secruity perspective it’s bad practise.

the more software you install, that is not in the standard repo, the more unstable it will become…
i use a rolling release distro on my desktop, void btw.
on servers i use debian, because i want the software as reliable as possible. i don’t care if the packages are older as long as no update breaks the system…
and that’s what YOU don’t understand:
you take his software and put it on your platform, without supporting it propperly…
don’t package it, if you are not willing to support it. simple as that…
you can but an ssh server in your initramfs.
