You could have linked any of the english articles that clearly say it is only Windows that is not getting any new features in the driver updates. Linux is unaffected by AMD’s Windows driver decisions.

it never left xorg

Your phone isn’t supported by Graphene, but it is still supported by LineageOS. You’ll lose the sandboxed play services, but still get monthly security updates. Fair trade off for your current device.

For non-Steam stuff, sc-controller might do the trick. The Dolphin and Duckstation forks are Windows only (yet uses manymouse which was for Linux). You could try your luck and see if they work in wine/proton as backwards as that sounds, just use the OpenGL/Vulkan renderers and hope for the best.

When you mainly listen to boomer artists who have made millions who gives a fuck

yeah but you install your software via cringepak (bloat) or shitty rpm-ostree and nothing is as well documented vs traditional distros

$AURHELPER -S xone-dkms-git xone-dongle-firmware xpad-noone

If your laptop has more than 2 cores/2 threads and has integrated graphics better than HD 6xx it is not low end.

what community he’s using an operating system lmao

Thanks for the clarification!

it’s part of ‘fucking around and finding out’

lmao hope this amounts to a bunch of linux newbies learning what distro hopping is.

huh did not know about it being apart of wine, i also used it back on windows. looks like static built wine in the easiest way to do it then for those edge cases.

Use winevdm or a portable/static wine build from kron4ek

use tabs or split view instead of trying to look like a hackerman
gimping your dns’ ping just to use something non-american won’t change orange man’s policies. use a private dns close to you.

Alright what drivers have you worked on?

Well people who own the official Xbox One wireless adapter will have to disagree since that requires firmware with an incompatible licence and won’t get into the kernel. If you want to not use the poor Bluetooth on Xbone controllers or have an older controller that does not have Bluetooth you’ll have to use this. Plus this release gives publicity to the project which the previous owner neglected since he went MIA twice.
Unreal Engine’s Linux builds are very neglected compared to Windows. Windows gets DX12 which is the main rendering API for the engine, Vulkan (which the native Linux version uses, also available on Windows) is a complete after-thought unless you’re on Android where it is the main target.
