How did you manage that? Opened SSH with no password?

Honest critique: if you want to use arch, learn to install it manually first. I don’t like the fact that Cachy advertises itself as beginner friendly because it obviously is not.
Hit the arch wiki and learn how to mount, his file system works etc. also for love of God, stop chowning/777ing all your files 😀
What does ls -l say in the directory where you mounted the drive?
Then please post the output of lsblk -f.
All you need to do after that is to take the UUID and add it to /etc/fstab.
Are you sure? That seems unlikely. Wray does pacman -Qi util-linux say?
Also see this: https://wiki.cachyos.org/configuration/automount_with_fstab/
And your lsblk-f

75·8 days agoNVIDIA is still used by people. There shouldn’t be a push for Wayland if Wayland doesn’t work on hardware that majority of people use.
I myself am on full AMD hardware, yet won’t switch to Wayland unless there is an actual reason to do so. X works just fine for me.

7·1 month agoTLDR it works pretty much out of the box. Speaking of experience, installing arch on my 2013 MacBook Pro was easy. Broadcom wireless was however troublesome. On my M1 pro MacBook on the other hand,I run asahi snow for about 6 months so far,and have booted only once into macOS for using ableton for a remote recording session. It just works.

Linux@programming.dev•Flow chart for choosing a Linux distro because I disagreed with the first oneEnglish
16·2 months agoThank you for the detailed response, but I was merely criticizing the flowchart. I am a Linux poweruser/sysadmin, and roll with arch at home, asahi fedora on my MacBook, and I manage mint/debian at work.
My flowchart would have two branches. You either are new and I recommend mint for work, popOS/maybe Nobara for gaming, or you’re not new and should go and do your own research as to which distro is good for you.

Noticed it as well, left the server. I use some dotfiles from archcraft on my system, but immediately un-archcraftified my installation. Such a shame.
