I’m on Linux Mint right now and when I go my library and toggle the “Show only games that run on Linux” button, nothing happens. I don’t think Valve cares about the distinction, so long as it runs.
After seeing the screenshot and not looking at the community first, I thought you had made a terminal emulator in the game, and not the language.
They had it so right with GPM. I wish they had gave more shits about it. I even paid for that shit because it was good enough to remind me of the old days of using foobar to listen to music.
I tried to set this up on Mint and was getting pinged for my keyring password every time I logged in. Got really annoying very fast because I do not have the require password setting on. So it was making me type my password either way.
Ubuntu derivative
Is one reason.
DE nobody else seems to be using
Cinnamon is easy to use though. Seamless transition from windows to linux for people who don’t know what they are really doing. When they get the hang of it, you can do some neat stuff with it.
Cinnamon is also an in house thing from the Linux Mint developers which is why it’s most common there. There’s a few other distros that have spins on it. Namely Ubuntu, Manjaro, Arch, Fedora, etc.
I personally don’t remember it being that way but it’s been a long time since I’ve used KDE. Like, Mandrake was still a thing when I last used it.
Who the hell advertises their MacOS software in the console of linux of any type?
I meant verbal harassment. Votes can be from anywhere.
I remember the video that this stems from. He wasn’t exactly a “little boy”, and I don’t mean by size. I mean that he was near or at adulthood.
Linus gave up the plaque to him realizing that he had won the auction fair and square and even plugged his channel on the video.
We don’t know how much Linus knew about his community doing this. Scouring the comments of Mindchop’s channel shows no harassment that I can see so far. However, I do admit the harassment could have taken place through DMs and other private communication.
This runs arch btw
Nobara is gaming centric, so no. Glorius Eggroll codes on a version of Proton and is the developer of Nobara. However, when I gave it a go I found it to be a bit buggy. YMMV though. (Nobara I mean. His version of Proton is amazing.)
I made the switch fully recently. It’s honestly nicer overall for sure. Glad to see things picking up. The more that move over, the more support Linux will get.
And 1 year on kbin from a web browser. I wonder why all the difference?
I’ve been waiting for such a long time for this. Late 90’s I think? I’ve finally made the switch and it’s great to not have to worry about the little annoyances that were always present.
The NSFL tag was a perfect use.
It just recommended elementary OS to me and that’s the next one I was going to try, lol.
I’ve got Nobara installed and it has shit the bed for whatever reason. Was way too unstable for me as well. Also, support is lacking there. A lot of hostile attitudes in response to any questions I had.
