Hi there!
Let’s not be angry at the Devs, it’s the publishers and other execs we should be pissed at :-(
Yeah, it does a fab job of giving me playlists in each of the moods/genres/decades I tend to listen to most, giving me a mix of tracks I know and stuff I can discover. I’ve found sooo much new music I love that way!
The AI voiced DJ is fun too, it’s surprising how psychologically satisfying it is to have a personal lil DJ, even when it’s basically just generating those same playlists under the hood, with a few tweaks.
I’m glad there are offline/open source solutions people are posting of course, I don’t want Spotify to ever be the only choice or some kinda monopoly. But yeah, if you’re happy using a service like that and spending a reasonable amount on a subscription, it’s fantastic :-)
We’ve all agreed that when he dies it would be disrespectful to keep using Linux so we’ll pack it up and switch to Windows from them on.
It would bug me to no end that the trackpad is off centre haha
Once you’ve figured this out, tell me about it please! :-D
I was just thinking about how I miss this screen the other day haha
The big question:
When I try to click on anything on the page, does it try to load pop-unders, or try to redirect me to very dodgy looking URLs?
The smaller question:
Will this be another private tracker, inaccessible without a special invite that’s impossible to get (or having to tie in my personal information, like an email address, just to access it)?
If the answer to all that is no, I’m excited! :-D
P.S Bonus important question: Can it sort the whole database of torrents by most-seeded? You’d think that would be a given, but websites like TPB don’t do this any more and it makes it impossible to simply browse - which is what I do, one must know exactly what they’re looking for. Bummer :-(
Run a Lemmy instance ;-)
Also retropie <3
I assume this will be prohibitively expensive (I really can’t shell out any more than £60 and that’s pushing it already), and probably impossible to get my hands on.
But if it’s affordable and actually available? Hell yeah, this thing looks fantastic. I love that we’re making something awesome here in the UK and sharing it with the world.
Will we finally be able to run N64 games on this hardware, do you think?
What’s the deal with this support person being unaware of how to use basic capitalisation and punctuation in sentences?
We learned that when we were 6.
Deeply, deeply unprofessional. If I had an employee that was this bad at presenting themselves to those outside of the organisation, I’d either insist they learn how to write properly in their own time and apply it at work, or possibly let them go.
It may seem harsh, but they write like a child, and that would reflect very badly on us as a team and organisation in every interaction they had, every day.
If you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
Calling a stranger an ass because they’re not living their life exactly how you would, in such a minor unimportant way, is not nice.
Which body part do I have to give to HP to be allowed to print these days? xD
qBittorrent, and turn sequential download on.
In what way will it replace or integrate with Discord?
One stop solution for all chat apps my arse.
I’ve been looking for a tool to do this for YEARS, my god! Years!!! ❤️❤️
What country are you in the midwest of? That really sucks, I emphasise :-(
I know they have a lot of data aps like that in developing nations still, like those in Africa, but generally in the western world we moved past those around 15 years ago at least, thank the gods. I’ve not even had a date limit on my phone since 2014, so handy for tethering the laptop when I’m on the move!
I’m in the UK, for reference :-)
I remember hearing about this guy enough that I was interested so I subscribed, and checked out a video of his once, I forget the topic but the title sounded pretty interesting. This was a few years ago.
Within 3 minutes I had unsubscribed. Why?
Well, he spent the first few minutes of the video being an annoyingly arrogant rich guy whilst also wasting time on things that had nothing at all to do with the topic of the video.
It was when he had his camera man follow him through his house or office or whatever it was, tacky “check out my millionaire crib” style, like a show for kids, and he went into a room, pointed at a big wall of NAS racks and said something like “I’ve got thousands and thousands of dollars worth of hard drives and I don’t even use them! Hahaha”, and I was like… Yeah. Screw this guy.
Some people might like a guy who baits grown up tech viewers with an interesting topic only to then waste their time with childish, arrogant behaviour, but I clocked him as a tosser within 3 minutes and never bothered with him again.
That’s just my personal experience, I can’t imagine what having to be around someone like that every day would do to a person, my gosh :-(
ASUS sell phones?
So, they’re recording and stealing our corporate secrets, etc? That’s going to go down well.
So, I suppose this means the end for Zoom use in business, no company is going to allow their intellectual property and secrets to be used by another company, especially what is essentially just their telephone call provider.
Affordable? I’m not here to pay people for things, that’s for sure 😅
He refuses to update the identification info for contributers? Why? It’s the least they can do for people who offer their time and expertise for the project.
Presumably he’d be happy to do so if they got married and changed their name, so it sounds like he’s probably a transphobe, right?
