Honestly what do people have against Firefox that can’t be fixed with plugins? It’s the only decent browser that isn’t chrome based, and I think that deserves support. And with plugins and sync it’s a great experience.
You’ll always get better value for money buying second hand. In most cases the battery will be fine, but if you find it too degraded you can just buy a new battery and still be ahead. Slightly older hardware is more reliable and compatible than brand new if you do some research, especially for linux as drivers have had time to catch up.

11·1 month agoIt’s based on crash logs so you’re assuming all OSs have the same rate of crashes, which is probably false. Edit: yes I meant OS not OP

1·4 months agoThis is the best answer I’ve seen. But why aren’t more people recommending Pop Os! Pop Os is by far my favourite as a noob user. I’ve live booted all the popular distros and Pop Os has the nicest interface a everything works so smoothly.

3·1 year agoOpen Steet Maps also shows Gulf of Mexico. Most maps seem to get their data either from Osm, Bing or Google.


I remember hearing GOG does a lot of extra work to make their games run better, so then it makes sense that their programmers use C++.
