Check if you have resistfingerprinting config turned on in about:config. It being on picks the light color scheme by default. Mull has this privacy feature on by default and while the extension detects there is a dark color scheme, the config forces light (bright) color scheme.

Be the change you want to see. Make some games worth playing and release it as a FOSS and prove it can be a commercial success as well. See how it goes.

Asking people to release their work for free while providing very little incentives other than your own benefit aren’t going to convince people who need to put food on the table NOW, without relying on miniscule probability of popularity or success after pouring years of your time.

Most loud mouth open source enthusiasts are often toxic entitled choosing beggars. If any of their desires are not met, the project is dying or dead even though the statistics say otherwise.

Developers also need to make money to live and survive. Why do you think you’re entitled to all of their work for free? If it’s such an inconvenience, you should try your hand at coding an alternative and giving all of it for free. We’re waiting.

The security issue was found in a development build, not a production release. There were no users to benefit from the CVE, because none were affected. If there were exceptions that were using development builds, it on them.

Opening an issue on their repo and helping to debug it would be much more beneficial.

It’s similar to “US attacks a helpless nation and bears no consequences” kind of war. If your infrastructure is that vulnerable, and your cyber defences are weak, someone stronger will do whatever they please.

What else are you gonna do? Take them to a real war that just took over your infrastructure? based on what, your own incompetence that hurt your feelings? DPRK has a reputation for using assassination and kidnapping on foreign soil.

US has a history of that with a lot more deaths, so we should thank hackers who attack US infrastructure.

Honestly, in medium to big projects, 2 seems like mostly astroturfing from companies who really want to hide the fact that they benefit financially but use alt accounts to push toxic bullying like “you’re not following opensource principle, not foss this, not foss that, you do this or we’re going to make a scene” when maintainers try to get any semblance of authority over their own projects.

My work involves juggling up to 50 different accounts each for a hand full of websites, so containers allow me to quickly swap between accounts signed into the same page.

So like astroturfing?
