One more thing to add to the Google Graveyard
One more thing to add to the Google Graveyard
Google has truly mastered the fine arts of wasting money
Watching the video reminded me of the ukulele apology video.
What’s with all the terrible jokes throughout the entire thing? That wasn’t necessary at all
When he started his channel, phones were out on a monthly basis with revolutionary tech each time.
The smartphone tech has more or less reached a plateau. I think he’s trying to stay the same, but the products he reviews are less interesting
I would argue that if it’s from a site that has strict ratio rules, you are preventing some users from reaching an adequate ratio
That’s absolutely crazy. It’s sad it’s an app as a service. I would gladly pay a good amount for a one time purchase. I have more than enough subscriptions already, and am not willing to commit to another one.

Content that isn’t legally available in your geographic location
I dig the hardware transcoding, the hdr-sdr tone mapping and the tablet App.
If you use Plex free and never found the limitations to be a burden, you have your answer.
All in all I personally find that a one time unlimited subscription is a great deal that is rarely seen nowadays
Depends of the computer, but Kodi uses quite a bit of ressources, depending on the content of course
I can understand the flak they’re having, but honestly Nova is the first thing I install on all my Android devices. Its so convenient and versatile
I feel you. I got tired of iTunes and migrated everything thing to Plex for the sake of usability / device compatibility, and I am dumbfounded by the lack of basic features in Plex music.
They basically applied the features of Plex Movies over to Plex Music without really thinking about it much.
It’s not a matter of Plex not picking it up correctly. More a matter of what you’re limited to do afterwards with the data.
And once you’re there, you’re stuck in the closed ecosystem.
But hey I’m still using Plexamp so they must be doing some things right
The app is great! But if you’re used to micromanage you songs, you gonna have a bad time.
The app is great! I’m glad it’s finally available to everyone.
But Plex’s music support is clearly an afterthought. Anemic ID3 support, impossible to edit tags, even worse playlist editing support, etc. It’s quite sad
Revanced YouTube music?
In my very humble and personal opinion, theres a finite number of content I will be able to watch in my lifetime.
Like many others I’m pretty sure, I have long gone past this limit, yet my personal collection of 50+mbps remuxes barely go over 6TB. This is hardly bank breaking
Honestly, for me, remux is the only way to go. Why would you risk downgrading the original quality? Is disk space / bandwidth really an issue in 2023?
Never had any issues regarding performance. My main use is taking notes at my workplace and the Samsung Notes app is very good
Works perfectly well as a Plex player with 4k content
When LastPass got hacked I switched to bitwarden and never looked back. Simple and effective interface, works on all platforms, I love it!
