Docker compose is amazing. I don’t even know how many things I’m running right now. Hell I’m running things I didn’t even use! (I could easily disable or delete them; I’m just lazy)
This was my experience years ago.
You didn’t kill old suit you? Cruel.
This looks neat.
Download whenever I feel like it. Share them.
Two computers.
Probably not. Just build a PC.
I miss the no bezel screen, despite the flat tire. Unfortunately I burned through three of these in a short amount of time from the cheap plastic back, and the battery was absolutely terrible.
Could set up pressure sensors for the bed, or only turn on sleep tracking when you’re both ready to sleep.
I wrote an automation specifically for my partner to unlock the front door when they arrive home.
Also we got a sexy time button.
Home Assistant is a path to what many would consider… Unnatural.
8k is a joke.
There are two apps that claim to override the button and one doesn’t work and causes issues, while the other has been flawless for me. I set it to open Plex. Even bought a perfectly sized Plex sticker to cover the Netflix logo.
Z Fold 3 - because it friggin folds open. I’ve been team Nexus/Pixel right up until this phone went on the used market for $900. It’s the best I’ve ever had except for missing a headphone jack. Showing off photos, navigating, reading, and split screening are the main reasons to use the inner screens. Primary complaints are crappy apps like discord and Plex that don’t work well on the front screen, and I make more typos on the skinny screen’s keyboard.
Samsung Tab A 8.0 with S Pen (the Euro one) because it was cheap and I needed a device to watch movies and read books on the airplane, and a Home Assistant dashboard mounted next to my desktop. I don’t use it enough to dislike anything about it.
I use Phillips Hue bulbs and Kasa outlets. I try to avoid WiFi when I have ZigBee and Z-Wave but the outlets have been flawless for me for years, and on sale their incredibly cheap. Dunno about security.
Using compose makes it a hundred times easier to understand and interact with. Also using Linux.
Customizable grid size on both the home screen and app drawer are the two biggest for me. Also being able to hide apps from the drawer while keeping them installed. Home screen gestures are a big one that I don’t personally use anymore.
Plex, Sonarr/Radarr, Ombi, Home Assistant, Komga, Calibre-Web, Valheim. Everything is on a Debian machine I built recently, except HA which is on an O-Droid (I just copied the hardware from HA Blue and ordered the parts from Ameridroid).
Unless you’re writing something in the open source world, rarely does any code need comments at all.
