Very much same and I almost bought a new one with the auto off but the guy at the audio store was a good long term salesman because he told me it would be in all other ways a downgrade that I would likely regret. so I’m just living with that for now.
it is the same one i have and i enjoy it. my one regret is i have not figured out the auto turn off the record arm thingy if it has one.

yeah, i like the ritual but it’s been a few years and I’m kind of wanting the auto off now, but eh. i like the player a lot.
Same but I’m even more impatient because it’s only been 6 months, haha
I really to value the ritual of playing records in general though. Auto-play or not.
