With my previous ISP you’re right: I had to go through CS hell to request a “server” connection that added an extra monthly fee. With my current one… Yep, everything works by default. I can host games, I can open up my Jellyfin server, no headaches here, I could even host my own Lemmy instance (zero desire, though).
