Thank you for the app. One suggestion: YouTube preview (not the video; just the image)
I think Firefox uses GTK theming.
Now it seems the way is unique_ptr and shared_ptr. And std::any to replace void*. At least is what it seems to me.
That’s something I don’t get about doing things in a language that is not meant to be used for that (like JS for something other than web).
I’d rather have a swipe action for collapsing and holding pressure to open.
Because is your product and you want to “sell” it to the “customer”. And you can’t blame the customer for not wearing the “correct dress” if they come to your shop. And if you don’t want them in your shop it’s your loss, not the customers’.
At least two. Or make it with modules and only load the necessary one.
Just as info, there are boards to add NVME and SATA drives. https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/m2-hat-plus/
Having another PC with minimum requirements only for Windows?
Donates or “donates”? As “all yours” or as in “it’s ours but you do the work”?
Have you sent any tickets to tell them to fix what you think needs fixing? Just like you are a visual artist and not a programmer, they are programmers and not visual artist (at least not all of them) so any feedback is welcomed.
I stopped using Windows in the XP era. Later on I started working in a job that required me to have a Win8 laptop. 2 years later I reverted back to Linux once I stopped working there and had Win8/10 as a game OS. But my main “serious” usage was on Linux.
Windows usage is decreasing every year. Slowly but… And it will reach a point where it will have not enough critical mass to be “THE OS” but “another OS”.
Not necessary. Imagine you begin suffering Alzheimer. And the artificial neurons are making a copy of your brain. Once a neuron stops working the backup one replaces it. Your mind, if it worked, could see the new neuron as part of the same brain and work with it seamlessly.
Do you really need that the majority of users use the same OS you use? It’d be nice but not necessary at all.
I’m thinking of a rapid alert on a problem in the project using IRC/XMPP/Matrix and then the project managers posting it in a forum about problems in the project.
Didn’t the major changed from left to right in 2016 or 2017?
I’m not an expert but I’d mix a RAID with a backup. And the RAID could be a 10 or a 01, but better read about all the types and choose the one that better suits your need.
